Dear Students, Parents and Community Members,

Welcome to Castle Creek Elementary School, where all children Imagine, Believe and Achieve, and where we “Live Green” every day. We are the “Home of the Dragons,” and the 2015-2016 #1 Green School in the State of Florida, and a Five Star School. All students and staff work toward saving our environment and supporting healthy living habits through recycling, saving energy, re-purposing items before they are put in the trash, eating healthy foods, exercising every day, learning to grow organic foods in our gardens, community service, and protecting our wildlife, to mention only a few of our Green School strands.

Our students are held to a high standard of learning in their classrooms through the Florida State Standards, and with additional support through tutoring and the Saturday “Casey’s Club,” and a total of 14 organizations that promote fun and learning.  We are very proud of our Robotics Team, as they were named and awarded the “Up and Coming New Team” for 2017.  Our National Elementary Honor Society was established in spring 2016 and is very active.  Our Chess Club, Mathletes and Battle of the Books teams are all competitive and work throughout the year.

Castle Creek is known for our outstanding Fine Arts program through the full-time organizations of “Castle Choir,” “Dragon Drummers,” “Dancing Dragons,” “Drama Dragons,” and “Casey’s Artists and Art Interns.”  The school productions are always outstanding, and are so well-attended that we have moved our productions to our feeder high school, East River High.  We celebrate our students monthly through Accelerated Reader, “On-A-Roll” Most-Improved Students, and “Terrific Kids” Character Awards.

Our parent organization include the SAC and PTA, and unique to Castle Creek, “Casey’s Family Achievers” which meets 6 times throughout the year. As you see, our staff is very involved and is working hard to ensure that every child is learning and achieving. I invite you to be a part of our Dragon family through your involvement as an ADDitions Volunteer or through one of our many organizations. Please feel free to contact me if you need additional information or have a suggestion for us. We love our parents, and enjoy hearing from you. Castle Creek is an exciting place to be, and a great place to learn.
